  2. Women are portrayed in Hip Hop as loose, vulnerable, and needy. They are forver in little to no clothing, shaking in the camera, showing the world their "goodies". If people are seeing women this way being disrespected, what's to stop them from viewing all women the same way?

  3. I believe that women in Hip-Hop are portrayed as easy, dependent and needy as well. They aren't the type of women that seem to respect themselves. The message that this sends is pretty much all women are the same, easy and need as well as unable to be independent.

  4. on my perspective women are classified as the lowest class in the world of rap and hip hop and the reason is because fans of music choose to be that way. it's all depends on the fan if the fan doesn't want it artist don't have a choice to consider women as a powerful tool for our society

  5. To me I don't like how hip hop portrayed womens because they show them as if they are easy and it's true that they only come up with some cloth that are use just to cover up what they have to. It makes them look as if they were worthless.

  6. I dislike the way women are portrayed in hip hop and popular music because they look "easy", and the clothes they wear is very little and also some girls think that they look nice and that they want to look like that as well. Why is this allowed in the media?

  7. That's a good question, why is this allowed in the media? The videos that have these women dancing like that only show disrespect to the gender. Most of all those videos probably don't even have good messages. But, then again why do women dance in those videos?

  8. MOst of the time in music has been from men, but when Women make their music they kind of give a power to women because they show they are also able to make music

  10. I think its a fine choice because we cannot have only male hip-hop artist. We need some women in Hip-hop. I believe woman want to be treated as equally and want to become and show what they are capable of doing. I accept the fact they are portrayed in Hip-hop and other popular music.

  11. i think because of the clothes that woman wear in music videos reflects the type of female they are...easy amd trashy. this encourage our females that its okay for them to dress like that in the streets to get a guy to notice them. i not say u cant look nice when u go out but dont take it over board and be trashy wit it

  13. Women through music have a personality that makes them be like sluts, prostitutes, and hoes because that the only way a music video is good to look at. The clothes they wear, the way the dance, and the way they look attractive to males.
